Thank heavens for helpful technologically minded children. I finished 'the Camp at Cassiobury Park' ages ago, and then hit a brick wall. Not literally, but tempted though. The computer was nearly through the window several times over.
One of my daughters didn't manage to get out of the house fast enough. She did groan when I shouted through the bedroom door that I needed help, but dutifully got out of bed to come and help, muttering, 'Will this take long? I'm on my way out.' She was still in her pj's and slippers, but she knew from past experience that it would probably be hours before she could escape. She gave in on condition that she could have the loft space in the enormous house I dream about owning when I make my first million - with her help.
The project in question was my feeble attempt to narrate Chapter 1 of the book, and upload it to Youtube. I managed the narrating bit, although you can tell I'm an amateur, but then got stuck on the actual techy thing. I persevered for ten minutes then was compelled to admit defeat.
Naturally, she managed the whole thing in about twenty minutes. So now it's up there! For all to see!
And criticise...
And there's no going back...
So if you fancy giving it a go

I will upload extra chapters whenever I get a few spare minutes. I hope you enjoy it!
